The Champions Poker League provides both low stakes and free-to-play points poker evenings in pubs across the country. The evenings are fun, enjoyable and a great way to meet like minded people.

Having run pub poker evenings since July 2006 we have successfully run over 4500 poker evenings nationwide. Champions Poker League evenings are dedicated to being fun above all else, but we understand the need for structure, so we ensure that all of our evenings are run using the same rules and guidelines to avoid any cheating.

The League has several sub-brands within it, each catering to a specific pub chain. Each of these sub-brands still operate like a normal Champions Poker League venue, adding their points in to the main league's leaderboard, but can also have their own exclusive events and special offers.

Players are not charged to enter our points tournaments and all money entered into our low stakes games is returned to players in the form of prizes on the same evening. Both low stakes and play for points players earn points which are entered by the venue into our online leaderboard system. The players can then see how they are ranked both nationally and in their pub.

At the end of each season the top players from each leaderboard, as well as any wildcarded entries such as the top forum poster each month, qualify through to our quarterly final. The top players from each of these quarterly finals then qualify through to our national final, where they compete to become our National Poker Champion.

Our Quarterly finals are regional across the UK and each is held at a Grosvenor casino. Players who qualify through the quarterly finals compete large cash prizes and the winner of each quarterly final receives an engraved Champions Poker League trophy. The top ten players from each quarterly final qualify through to the National Final, a large, lavish event with players invited from all the quarterly finals from the year. Players play for our grand prize of an all expenses paid poker holiday and the title of National Pub Poker Champion! The national final is held in the large card room at Grosvenor Casino Walsall and is a great day out for all involved.

The Champions Poker League dedicated to creating a national poker community, allowing players to travel to another venue anywhere in the country and know that they can enjoy a fun evening of poker using the same equipment and tournament structure as in their own local.
